Need Know Process Information of Clay Drying Machine - Bucay

Clay dryer or clay drying machine is specially designed to dry materials with high viscosity like clay, gypsum and other materials. This large sized drying equipment is primarily composed of vibrating feeder, heating furnace, drying device, and air intake and air outlet device, and more. The vibrating feeder enables materials to spread uniformly on the mesh belt. An airintake fan with large air flow blows away water content of materials, and then the water content will be discharged from the air-outlet.

Dying process needs to consume large amount of heat energy. In order to save energy, some materials with high moisture content, suspending liquid and solution which contain solid objects should be mechanically dewatered or heated first, and then they can be dried in a industrial dryer to get dry solids. During drying process, heat and weight (moisture content) transfer need to be finished simultaneously, thus guaranteeing a higher moisture and water vapor partial pressure inside the dryer than that outside the dryer, and guaranteeing a higher temperature of heat source than that of materials.




Process flow of Clay Drying Machine

As clay is sticky, clay drying machine is divided into several section for higher efficiency.

1. Transmission section. Wet coal slime enters this section, then gets full contact with high temperature air, moisture inside gets vapourized. With lifting boards elevate and scatter materials repeatedly, wet coal slime is conveyed to next section.

2. Cleaning section. When materials fall down, they are easy to stick on the inner wall of the cylinder. During this process, cleaning device breaks the clumps. This spreads the surface area of heat exchange and improves heat efficiency.

3. Lifting boards section. Wet clay is loose and of low moisture content that meet the requirement.

4. Discharging section. No lifting boards in this area. Materials roll to the outlet. The whole drying process is completed.
